Full Moon Kayak & SUP tour

For several years Velair has been organizing this amazing SUP and kayak excursion with the full moon. The Full Moon Parties are incredible and we are proud of the feelings that this excursion gives to our clients and ourselves!.

The Full moon paddle excursion is organized in Getares. Located just 20 minutes from Tarifa by car.

Because of the weather conditions this excursion is only possible in spring and summer.

Although the place is very unknown and still to be discovered, it is not very difficult to find. Using google maps or our directions you will get to the starting point of this full moon paddle excursion. Velair can also organize your transportation from Algeciras or Tarifa (contact us for the prices of transportation and other possible extras for the Full moon sup and kayak tour).

After meeting with our instructors at the meeting point, you will be provided with a SUP or kayak, wet-suit and paddle (according to preference and availability). The instructors will give a short introduction of how to use the SUP or kayak. So even complete beginners can join this excursion. The instructors will also explain the route that we will take and what conditions of wind, tide and waves we can expect along the way. On the water the instructors (1 instructor per 5 clients) will accompany you in their sea kayaks. From their kayaks they can help you with any situation that may occur.

The route is circular and runs through a zone of  impressive cliffs. The route is easy to do so anyone can participate. However at sea the conditions can always change, sometimes very fast. Our instructors, besides being charming company, know the area very well and have the experience to help you through any situation that we can come across.

The Full moon paddle surfing experience can hold a variety of surprises! Both from us, providing you with a cold beer and games, and from nature. We can see lighting algae and we can be visited by some of the amazing animals that swim in the straight of Gibraltar.
